Voici deux peintures réalisées au même endroit, à Orléans, à un an d'intervalle. La première ci-dessus, est de la semaine dernière, et dirigée vers l'ouest, tandis que l'autre, datée de fin août 2009, est tournée vers le nord-est. La peinture récente est en soi moins descriptive du cadre réel, plus interprétée que la précédente. La lumière est néanmoins fidèle aux effets du soleil sur les berges.
These two paintings were done on the same spot in Orléans. The first one is the most recent, from last week, while I did the second one a year ago, in late august. One looks west, the other north-east, and the new one is more interpreted than the other, less "realistic" and true to the real landscape. It is more a light study of the sun effects on the grassy banks of the river.
