A portrait study of Daniel Dravot, the main character in Kipling's The Man Who Would Be King. I just wanted to capture a bit of royal lethargy, and a feeling of boredom. I think this man, celebrated as the direct son of Alexander the Great, would soon find his new status more boring that he would have assumed at the beginning.
